Filipinos surely starts their day with a cup of coffee with a very tasteful bread called Pandesal or Bread Salt. It is a popular yeast-raised bread in the Philippines. Usually soft, airy, chewy and has a slightly crunchy outside taste. It goes with fillings or “palaman” also, such as cheese, peanut butter, strawberry jam but ultimately it is best partnered with coffee or Choco and just dipped and eat. This has been part of the Filipino classic food and are widely enjoyed throughout the day, they are almost synonymous to rice in Filipino meals.
